The following eggs are designs created by Linda over the years which may give you ideas for your own work. Designs available as instruction leaflets are marked with the appropriate catalogue number. For more instructions see our catalogue pages.

'The Winter Doves’ is a class that Linda taught in July 2023 at the Washington Decorated Egg Show.

The design features white poinsettia made from a thin foam product - something new for egg artists to play with!

In December 2019, Linda was invited to take part in a massive project to create the world's most expensive Christmas tree.

The tree was to be trimmed with designer ornaments in a limited number of media including ceramic, wood and, of course, eggs.

Linda had several eggs on the tree along with the organiser of the project, Debbie Wingham who does a little egg art herself. To learn more click here
'Clown of the Silent Screen' - An ambitious project, now available as a downloadable pattern) where a goose egg rotates within a rhea egg giving the illusion of Charlie Chaplin changing position as the egg is rapidly turned.
One of Linda’s most recent designs using an emu egg.
‘The Baby’s Memory Box’ -- Instruction #84

Cold porcelain flowers decorate these simple hanging goose egg ornaments.

Sonie Ames blackberry and wild rose prints are shown here découpaged onto a rhea egg pot-pourri jar.

The softness of the images are enhanced by blending paint around the edges of the print, then burying under layers of varnish to completely embed the print and leave a satin smooth finish.

‘The Blackberries’ - Instruction #85

Stylised camellia blooms trim the top of this rhea egg.

Intricate lattice cutwork is trimmed with pinhead crystals and the blooms are filled with a mixture of stones and tiny half pearls.
Experimentation with paint finishes can produce some very interesting results as can be seen on this goose egg featuring a rabbit silk print and cold porcelain bluebells.

More half pearls complete the ‘sakura’ blossoms on this oriental-themed egg.

Linda’s love of celtic designs manifests itself in this rhea egg complete with small goose egg inside.

Fuchsia rhinestone makes the design come alive.
